Data sharing
We work closely with a number of partners, including Local Resilience Forums. Where a member agrees, Communities Prepared will share that member’s information with the appropriate Local Resilience Forum (LRF) so that the LRF can connect with them, and provide them with access to resources for growing their community’s resilience. We work closely with each LRF to ensure that robust security mechanisms are in place and that personal information is used only as agreed, and never for any commercial or marketing purposes.
The types of information that are shared are:

- Information about the member’s engagement with resources or activities, such as viewing or downloading a document or video, or attending a Communities Prepared training session.
The lawful basis for sharing is consent and members are free to change their mind at any time. This can be done via the members’ area, or by getting in touch with us.
