Realise your potential in the natural environment

Wellbeing

Set in 130 acres of woodland with spectacular views across the Bristol Channel, our idyllic venue provides a unique setting for wellbeing courses, yoga workshops and mindfulness retreats.

Make yourself at home in our eco-style wooden lodge set on it’s own private eight acre site. It sleeps up to 38 or you’re welcome to borrow our ridge tents to camp and unwind around a fire. Our large outdoor classroom, cosy yurt or cottage classroom offer a wide range of different teaching and socialising options. The lodge site also benefits from direct private access to our beautiful 130 acres of adjoining woodland and a Site of Special Scientific Interest. Click here for more details about our accommodation.

Our experienced tutors can also offer a range of outdoor activities to suit all ages and abilities, either as part of your retreat or as an activity day in itself. Activities range from archery to bushcraft, more details of what we offer can be found here.

We work regularly with local mental health charities, addiction treatment centres and charities tackling loneliness and isolation with older people in the community. Please see the below reviews from our current and past wellbeing clients.

The Brandon Trust supports adults and children with learning disabilities and been given the opportunity to take part in activities at Goblin Combe Environmental Centre. Groups have taken part in bushfire making, den/team building, obstacle courses, nature walks, archery and campfire cooking. This gave the people we support an opportunity to be in an outdoor environment, which some do not the chance to be in. The personal wellbeing factor people got from these opportunities is clearly evident in the sense of achievement and increased confidence they gained during the sessions. All people in the groups really enjoyed the relaxed and friendly way the staff worked with them and they look forward to doing more sessions in the future.
