Alternative Education

Our tutor team have a long and diverse experience supporting young people who are disengaged from the classroom environment or who are NEET.

Goblin Combe Environment Centres tried and tested alternative curriculum allows Young People to build confidence, improve communication and establish skills in personal behaviour management, whilst supporting learners towards accredited qualifications and building skills in English & Maths.

Targeted intervention

Our targeted programme will work with your young people throughout a one week residential experience, completing an Entry Level vocational qualification and building confidence through the completion of short but challenging tasks on our site

On-going support

In order to maintain the effects of our behaviour change intervention we can work with a pupil on a weekly basis throughout the school year, working towards a Level 1 Vocational Qualification.

Achievement Coaches Outreach programme

Our tried and tested Achievement Coaches programme delivers positive change in young peoples engagement with classroom learning. 63% of our learners showed a positive change in confidence and behaviour management within 3 months of starting on our programme.

This programme will be delivered in your school environment, providing group activity and 1:1 mentoring for pupils at risk of exclusion (minimum group of 10).

Alternatively combine our Achievement Coaches and On-going support programmes to provide a truly holistic approach to At Risk of NEET young people.

Vocational Learning & Workplace Skills

Our Vocational Learning environment, providing training and support in Land-Based subjects, Hospitality and Catering and Youth & Play Work provides support for Adult Clients furthest removed from the jobs market to provide skills and work based experience to support them in to work.

Our delivery has a 92% success rate with over 60% of participants entering employment within 6 months of completing our programmes.
